The style of "speech" which characterizes Cult Programming Language is quite different from the way "normal" clear-thinking people speak. Listen carefully to how "thoughts" in the talks are phrased paying attention to the "fear inspiring words." Observe carefully how the literature thoughts are phrased to maximize fear and obedience to Organization Edict. Neural Linguistic Programming can be very powerful in a negative way when peculiarly phrased "cues" are repeated several times each week. Repetition is a key element of Mind Control Techniques coupled with "activity overload" which induces a mind state akin to sleep deprivation or hypnotic trance. Those who produce the talk outlines and who write the literature articles are well versed in the techniques. Yes, the process is very similar to hypnotism.

Yep, it screwed up too! I'm stumped - apparently there isn't any way to post a link to a youtube user page without it showing up as a video.
Unless... (spaces after the colon and dots

Gosh, I guess something didn't turn out as intended with the link. It was to Apostate Chick's youtube video page with all of her videos. Hmmm, apparently youtube hyperlinks are automagically interpreted as videos even when they're not.
If the link in quotes is screwed up also, you can find her videos by doing a youtube search for Apostate Chick. I should also say that there are many youtube pages with XJW experience videos and they're all very good.mm

Did Jesus pre exist? Yes or no?
by UnshackleTheChains inwhen i first became a witness, i always found the teaching about jesus being the arch angel michael hard to swallow.
i did however believe that jesus pre existed as a master worker alongside god (the first of his creation).. but now everything is brought into question having watched anthony buzzard explain why jesus could not have pre existed as it is impossible to pre exist yourself.
also the fact that it all sounds contradictory to suggest, he was already alive millions of years before he was transferred to mary's womb to be born as a human - the son of man?.

One day in the future we shall all know for a certainty. Before he took the temporary "demotion" to human status in order to learn obedience and to show us "The Way" I do believe he was the "firstborn son." We haven't any idea what that truly means yet; such as how did his original birth take place; was he created in a manner similar to Adam? I dunno. But, one day we shall know for sure...

The WTBorg Inc. program of Cult Mind Control does include carefully designed mentally implanted "cues" to produce feelings of very deep depression, even to the extent of self-destruction, should those who are vulnerable think or act out desires to depart from the Borg. This technique is well developed in government sponsored mind control programs such as MK Ultra and Monarch. The intent is to effectively silence any "apostates" who would dare leave the controlled group.
The implanted fear based "cues" are activated by doubting thoughts and are capable of inducing a severely impaired reasoning ability such that death seems a natural course of action.
It is truly sick in its effectiveness. So much so that "normal" thinking people simply cannot comprehend.

Very positive development!
The videos have been very helpful and some are very, very good. I'd put Apostate Chick in that very, very good category. Her videos are candidly humorous while offering poignant critical thinking stimuli.
Wishing you the very best as you proceed with your initiative.

Why Are More JWs Claiming to be Anointed?
by Ding inmost jws i know claim they are happy being in the great crowd.
they'd rather live on a paradise earth and pet lions than go to heaven.. heaven is a place they can't relate to, a place where they don't expect their friends and loved ones to be.. so why are more and more jws claiming to be of the anointed?.
aren't they looked down upon as if they are crazy, proud, ignorant, or engaging in apostate thinking?.

Waton,
"Tranche" would surely fit!
I was thinking more along the lines of "Trance" as in Hypnotic Trance. Anyone, in my opinion, who would cling to any WTBorg unique fear laden beliefs must be in some sort of Cult Induced Trance.
I haven't examined all of the new sects and their beliefs. Probably won't. What I've seen thus far is that they're to some extent simply "echo chambers" for The Cult while claiming to forge new territory.Blech!

How does the WTS explain away THIS scripture?
by Searching ini'm honestly in awe about this particular scripture (and honestly i can't keep thanking jwfacts enough for providing biblical contradictions to the jw doctrine!).
"john said to him: "teacher, we saw a certain man expelling demons by the use of your name and we tried to prevent him, because he was not accompanying us.
" but jesus said: "do not try to prevent him, for there is no one that will do a powerful work on the basis of my name that will quickly be able to revile me; for he that is not against us is for us.

Quote from Searching:
I just don't really understand, and I suppose since I no longer see it that way I never will, that if Jesus & God wanted, or demanded that we in the future form one small exclusive group - who were the only ones that could be saved from destruction, why did they not make that more explicitly clear? Why was nothing laid out in the bible, but instead had to be stumbled upon? Instead Jesus said that the way to gain salvation was through him and him alone.
Guess its in the fine print somewhere
Super questions! The so-called "Good News" that the WTBorg "preach" in their recruiting efforts really isn't very good news. It's some really bad news borrowed from certain sects of Christendom which is heavy on the Fear component. Why would a God, for whom all things are possible, even think about throwing a "destruction" tantrum to eternally annihilate most of the human race to prove His Love for the World? The message at John 3:16 is certainly much bigger than that!
Happily, there is indeed some Really Good News which demonstrates a Love which covers ALL.
Some Bible Scholars have truly gotten it right!
